Well fellas
There is not much more I can add to Dave's and Rich's very well conversed post's!..It would be an absolute travesty if Tiff decided to close the venue down to lack of attendance.
I'm at a complete loss as to why the hierarchy of the bigger shooting forum's with their fantastic traffic seem to refuse to promote the RRC??...(sitting here shaking my head)
I'm very lucky that I have well over 3000 acres to shoot over and can stretch it out in one or two places to well over 600yrds...BUT!!!..I get off my backside once every 3 months or so, and travel the 560 mile round trip.Because I have the upmost respect for Tiff and what he has achieved.
It's also fantastic being around likeminded rifle shooters that absolutely love long range rifle shooting with a passion!!!
I am very proud to be one of the usual 18 or so people that..WALK THE WALK! and attend the RRC....There's a lot more talkers then shooters out there.
VARMINTINGUK will be steadfastly promoting the RRC until Tiff decides enough is enough and call's it a day!..Lets hope that day never comes!
Tiff
Once again I had a great weekend.I away's look forward to meeting up with the usual suspect's!..and a few new ones!..I've grown to admire them all!..The ever evolving COF was fantastic!..the most challenging so far I think!...Watching the guys work as a well oiled team's calling elevation and windage adjustments on some of the stages was great!!
As always the freaky Bodmin wind was playing havoc!..i still cannot work it out (and this was my 8th time down there)
The good natured banter and P155 taking was rife from the get-go!..always put's a huge smile on my face!...
Sunday was a dream of a day for long range shooting in the most part... Spotting for Rich and Pete onto the 1350 steels and seeing big smiles after consistent hits was great!..Hearing Tisme and Paddy whooping as they connected aswell!
It was all over far to soon!!!
But I got to meet some great new guys Dave's son Luke,Tony and keith..methinks they have been bitten by the bug as they all went home grinning like Cheshire cats!
A massive thanks to Tiffs mum and dad...and my son Beau for their lookout dutie's!..without you there would be no shoot!
Glenn.

Finally a use for the Green Party rhetoric: The venison: 400yd gongs through the fence: The Sunday firing line: 650yd coke cans: 1000yd steel plate: 1350yd fig 14:

The targets looked further away through a 22x scope. Rich did you have to hold over with the 32x ?

No, I just had enough to get me to 1350 but I have a 20moa rail and a 20moa unimount so 40moa total cant. The scope has 65 moa of elevation total, I have 62moa available from zero.

Firstly, thank you very much to everyone who attended, without you there wouldn't have been a Spring RRC. Saturdays main challenge shoot was comfortably the best to date, with a wide variety of reactive targets, distances and shooting positions. It offered something for everyone, with positional speed shooting close in to timed precision shooting at nearly 1,000 yards. Plus hard earned instant bragging rights amongst your peers; especially true of DaveT and his son Luke for their 1st round hits on 9" balloons at circa. 960 yards in a gusting temperamental wind. Sundays more informal zeroing and coaching was an equal success, with targets from 100 to nearly 1,400 yards being engage. The cloud base did descend for a brief while, but soon lifted producing light winds and clear visibility for miles - almost perfect for reaching way out there. Results will be published tomorrow once I've unpacked, but for now here is a short video of the weekend: Spring 2015 RRCMany thanks again, Tiff

You should get a 5.5-22x56 then they have 120 moa adjustment.

Yep thanks Tiff great comp and really nice playing at silly distances today glad the fog lifted and even a bit of sunshine. Not sure of the name of the chap with the nice spotting scope but I wish I hadn't looked through it, I now want one. Cheers to everyone for the help and fun. I didn't even have to listen to Paddy for six hours on the drive home as the roads were empty and it only took 4. Sorry tisme, I knew I shouldn't of bought it along but I thought my x7 bino's would be much cop at the distances we were going to shoot at. If you really want a spotting scope for long range shooting, have a look at the STR 80 with the choice of either a MOA or MRAD Reticle.
