sako75varminter, thank you for the invitation to join, Mark R is now markr !!!!
tisme my scope is the ATX 85mm but the 65mm has the same 25x to 65x magnification and is several hundred pounds cheaper.
You could also look at ATS / STS (65mm or 80mm) but you need to purchase an eyepiece to go with the body, and as these models has been around for sometime, there are few second hand bodies and eyepieces around.
Regards Mark

Apologies about the delay, here are the final results for the Spring 2015 RRC. The individual HPS was 110, with the lowest possible ‘score’ being -5, thanks to an early negative scoring stage. Of course this wasn't a competition (just a more formalised zeroing day) so there were no prizes, just the respect of your peers. Plus it should be noted with the highest placed shooter (Will.W.) achieving just over a 58% hit rate on the fox/deer sized kill zones, there is plenty of room for improvement for everyone. Therefore, in the interests of humane shooting, it may be prudent to host another RRC next year… In the meantime the venue is available for hire by organisations or groups that have field conditioned rifles. Plus further firearms training and experience days will be available soon . Many thanks, Tiff

Ditto. Think it was the best one yet.
Very happy with my score. Was the first proper outing for the .7-08. With a load that was more or less thrown together im well happy with how it shot.

Upon speaking to Pete about a boar shooting opportunity I was having to pass up, I found out that I'd missed this too... Damn it.
