I don't shoot on a range so my shooting will be a few shots each time I go out long range varmint shooting, I'm hoping to get 1000 accurate rounds from it.

I just measured the throat on my rifle, after a day of load development using 50 rounds, the throat hasn't moved back at all, long may it continue. :-)

I should think way more shots than 1 k. I have a CZ 550 in 22-250 with 4400 down the barrel and it shoots sub.50 for 5 shots. I run JB Compound after the shooting season about 10 patches worth to knock the rough edges off. Not as fast as new for sure however it suits my needs. When I see keyholes then I will re barrel.
