Just noticed the Salisbury plain shoot now clashes with next roundhouse. Hope no one booked for tiffs lets him down. Id rather Bodmin any day.

I have noticed that Rup, i`m not at the round house so could make the FCSA on the plain but it would not be the same without you guys. The shooting is great but really its as much to do with who you shoot with.

Oooooh venison :-) keep some for me. Looks like I have to wait for Richard to finish plastering a ceiling tomorrow... So may be a bit later than planned. Making bullets tonight "rolleyes".

Well that was a wet one! Sadly visibility was too bad to shoot from the top of the hill so an alternative firing point was used in one of the clay sheds for shelter of sorts, enabling the targets on the far hill to be engaged at between 900-1000yds. I think without the shelter most would have spent the day next to the kettle in the bunkhouse. Tiff has done some great work clearing the undergrowth around the long distance steels. This has enable relatively easy spotting of splash though somewhat wasted as hard to see through the rain and cloud. Perfect had the weather been kinder. Have a thought for the 6 lookouts that endured a day being fully exposed to the Bodmin fury. The forecast was for dry so the lookouts were left out to endure the weather in the hope that it would blow through. It didn't! Hoping the Bodmin weather gods are a bit more considerate for the next one :-)

Its a real shame when the weathers bad but half the fun is the BBQ and banter. Looking forward to the next one as well

Great shoot, great company as always. Many thanks to Tiff and his helpers again.
I will put some photos and video up once I've had chance to edit it.
Tiff, did you get one of the 900 - 1000yd targets?

Many thanks for the kind words, I've just returned home.
I'll have a look through the footage and pictures over the next day or so and get them online - Further details to follow then.
Many thanks again to all those who attended, despite Sundays un-forecast weather.
Tiff
