Great looking rifle there Ian,
Also noticed that you have a rifle basix trigger, I am ingtrested in how you find it against the other more well known and more expensive trigger units like timmney etc.
Dont know if you have any experiance or opinion about it?
Cheers,
Ben.

Cheers, Ben. Hi Ben, i cant tell you how the Rifle Basix compares to the Timney as i have never tried one but i do believe it is regarded as a better trigger anyway. IMO in function its as good as a Jewel and ergonomically better having a wider trigger shoe and a better safety. There is a lot of kudos attached to the jewel, i have owned rifles equipped with them and i honestly dont think they are as good as they are made out to be. I will of course be shot down in flames and told i dont know what i am talking about for saying jewel is not the best. Canjar takes that title Ian.

Cheers for the feedback Ian, I only asked as I was looking at aftermarket trigger units the other day and saw the rifle basix and had never heard of them. If you reckon they are ok thats good enough for me. Also did you fit your's or was it smithed? I was told they are an easy self fit?
Thanks,
Ben.

Yes i fitted them myself Ben, i have them on all my rifles, factory set at 12oz, its not a difficult job but a couple of overlength dummy pins will help Ian.
